The Miami Heat are a pro basketball organization that is a member of the National Basketball Association, the top basketball league in the world. The Heat were founded in 1988 as an expansion team and have had some great seasons over the years.
The team won its first NBA Championship in 2006 when Dwyane Wade and Shaquille O'Neal teamed up to bring a title toe South Beach. The Heat won the championship again in 2012 and 2013 after adding LeBron James and Chris Bosh to help Wade. James, Wade and Bosh led the organization to four consecutive NBA Finals appearances during the Big Three era.
